Studying charts and forecasts for the sea kayak trip this weekend. I will lead some ten paddlers to the eastern end of the Stockholm Archipelago. The forecast is finally sunny and windy. Earlier it was overcast with rain and snow!

Instead we will have a fantastic evening watching the sun set in the Baltic Sea.

Unbroken horizon and waves will keep us company when sleeping in our tents.

The rough plan for now is to paddle along the exposed side of the skerries to get the feeling of open sea, wind and waves.

It will be great!

Familjemiddag

Vardagsdramatik och ett hastigt kast in i vildmarkens hårda villkor. Ett litet röd-svart kryp som inte klarat den första vårsolens obarmhärtiga strålar. Familjen sörjer en kort stund och sätter sedan igång med festmåltiden, det lilla krypet…

We went to buy some things for our new home. The home delivery service at IKEA is great. But I think there is a market for a packaging disposal service too…

Returnerad

Den lilla lastbilen är returnerad. Det var ju väldigt smidigt att köra bara ett lass. Roligt också 🙂 Var tvungen artiklar lite extra rondeller och backa lite innan jag lämnade nycklarna från mig. Hoppas få tillfälle att köra nåt stort igen. Det har gav mersmak. Lite släp och 60 ton vore kul igen.

New vista

The cardboard boxes are finally in our new house. Two days of carrying out of the old house and in to the new are coming to an end. Still a mess of cartons, furniture and plastic bags with unknown content. But the feeling is fantastic and we know this is a house we will really feel at home in.

Indulgence

There is a certain feeling when breaking in new quality shoes. The firm leather, the support it offers and yet the perfect fit. I am a sucker for hand sewn British mens shoes. I scream when I see the price tag but once my feet slips into them a feeling of relief and satisfaction overwhelms me. They are worth every penny! The best is, they only get better and better. With a minimum of care they will gladly last 10-15 years and still look great and feel lika a perfect hug with someone you love.

Visste inte att det fanns. Men det står på flyttkartongerna. Hursomhelst fika är ett måste för alla. Nu laddar Agda och jag för Amandas födelsedagsmiddag ikväll. Först, kaffe!
